Service History
A733PSU Entered Service with Strathclyde PTE allocated to Knightswood Depot in August 1983 as A107. During 1986 A107 was Transferred from Knightswood Depot to Larkfield Depot, A107 and other Ailsas were replaced at Knightswood with older Atlanteans. Circa 1998/99 Repainted from Strathclyde's Buses Orange and Black to First bus red. 1999/2000 Transferred from Larkfield Depot to Possilpark Depot. During late 2000 early 2001 when Possilpark Depot closed A107 was transferred to the replacement Depot in Kirkintilloch. Around 2001/2 when Kirkintilloch Depot closed A107 was then transferred to Knightswood Depot. In 2003 When First’s renumbering scheme was launched A107 went on to become 31212, but was also still A107 on paper. 01/04 Knightswood Depot closed and A107 was transferred to the replacement depot Scotstoun where she was fitted with seatbelts to work mostly on school work in the East Dumbartonshire Area. 05/06 On her last few weeks of service A107 was transferred from Scotstoun to Cumbernauld Depot to provide cover then was transferred back to Scotstoun for her last week of service. 08/06 Was purchased from First for Preservation by the Beith Transport Museum. 06/07 Was purchased by Mark McLaughlin for preservation at the TPT Museum. Mark's plan for A107 is to restore to her Strathclyde's Buses days by repainting her into Orange and Black (Strathclyde Red). The restoration work back to her old condition has already commenced with removal of the seat belts, first logos and various other things.
